Cody WY to Yellowstone National Park
5/6/2015
We left Cody WY around 9:30 a.m. to visit the Cody Museum which housed 5 different museums in one building.
After the museum we visited Old Trail Town. 1895 Buffalo Bill Cody laid out the original town of Cody, Wyoming which is named in his honor.
Paid $2.47 a gal for gas here. Our Kodiak Adventures is heading toward Yellowstone National Park. We took the route through Buffalo WY and the mountains. Starting to see snow on the mountain tops. Scenery is beautiful, overcast most of our drive.
We will arrived at the Madison campground about 2 hours after arriving at Yellowstone Eastern Entrance. It's around 3:30 p.m. Cool and rainy here. The temperature is in the 40s.
We are exploring the North end tomorrow. Lots of road work going on causing long delays. Should be interesting.
