Arches National Park, UT

We spent the morning working on paper work.  On the road, the Internet and our Hot Spot from Verizon, we can be about anyplace and function paying bills or other business matters with no difficulty.

Purchased gas today for 2.86/gal.  Going up unfortunately.  We are spoiled paying an average of 2.30/gal up to now.  Oh well to be expected I guess.  Sunny today in the 70's. We are heading to the Arches National Park.

Arches National Park has a very different formation than other rocks we have seen.  Very interesting and beautiful.  You drive threw the park to view the rocks, then you return the same drive back to the main entrance.

A short drive from Orlando, this 4,500-acre park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated as an Outstanding Florida Water Way. Lake Louisa, Hammond Lake and Dixie Lake, the park’s most accessible lakes, provide opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Blue Spring State Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring is a designated manatee refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. During manatee season, which approximately runs from mid-November through March, several hundred manatees can be viewed atop the spring’s overlooks on cold days.
