Rocky Mountain National Park, CO

Sunny 70 deg. F today.  Purchased Gas today at Boulder, CO for $2.49/gal.  We are going to meet Patrick and Chelsea at Boulder after their work for dinner.
















Becky and I drove to Rocky Mountain National Park today to visit.  Beautiful mountains.  Still lots of snow so we were limited to how much hiking we could do.  We took a scenic drive to Bear Lake. Walked the short walk to the Lake.




































We caught up with Patrick and Chelsea at "The Shine"  in Boulder CO.  Chelsea picked out one of her favorite restaurants.  She is very health conscious and wanted us to try this place.  We enjoyed, always nice visiting the kids no matter where we are.













After dinner we drove Chelsea to Colleen and Android Jones home in Longmont.  Chelsea worked for Android a couple years as an assistant.  She still helps out on occasion when they need her. Nice meeting Androids mother Colleen for the first time.  Very nice people. Helped Chelsea out a lot.

A short drive from Orlando, this 4,500-acre park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated as an Outstanding Florida Water Way. Lake Louisa, Hammond Lake and Dixie Lake, the park’s most accessible lakes, provide opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Blue Spring State Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring is a designated manatee refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. During manatee season, which approximately runs from mid-November through March, several hundred manatees can be viewed atop the spring’s overlooks on cold days. The spring and spring run are closed to all water activity from mid-November to at least mid-March.  Swimming or diving with manatees is not permitted; this rule is strictly enforced.
