Houston TX, to New Orleans, LA

We left Sealy Texas around 9:00 a.m. heading to Houston Texas to pick up a new tire we ordered to replace the damaged tire from 5/20/2015.  When we arrived in Houston, the tire we ordered was not in yet. The new tire was expected to arrive any time.  Mean time I asked the guys at D. H. Tire, Inc. if they could rotate the tires on the Kodiak for me.  The tires were new in 2014 and now have around 12,000 miles on them.  They were happy to rotate them for us.  Not an easy task since there are two rear tires on each side, as well as the two in front.


The new tire arrived and they were able to get all tires rotated and the new tire installed on the rim of the blow out.  A great bunch of guys, Becky and I were both impressed with them. Very accommodating and helpful.








We continued on to New Orleans.  Weather was overcast and warm 87 deg. F.  Lots of driving today trying to get to Orlando to see Diego play soccer at ESPN which started today.

We stopped to rest a bit at the Houmas House Plantation, New Orleans, LA.


















We continued on to the nearest Walmart.  Had a sandwich at Subway, then turned in getting ready for another long drive tomorrow on "Our Travel Adventure" toward Florida.

Blue Spring State Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. A short drive from Orlando, this 4,500-acre park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated as an Outstanding Florida Water Way.
