New Orleans LA, to Mississippi to Florida

Today Sunny then Rain with a temperature of 91 deg. F.  We visited the New Orleans French Quarter of New Orleans, LA today.  Old and a lot of history.  Streets are challenging with an RV even though we are only 22 feet.  Difficult for us to get around but we made it and got several pictures.


 
 

 














 
 
 































 
















     


We continued on our way, heading toward Kissimmee FL.  Mississippi has pretty scenery. Rain on and off all day.   

We took a scenic route while in Mississippi.  The Beach we drove by was beautiful white sand and long. 





























Arrived at the Western Florida State Line.  The Northern part of Florida's coast on I-10 is a beautiful drive.  Hilly, green with lots of trees and well maintained road.  Probably the best State Line we witnessed so far.

Arrived at Kissimmee, Florida around 12:30 a.m. tired and ready for sleep.  Diego plays tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney.

Blue Spring State Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring is a designated manatee refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. During manatee season, which approximately runs from mid-November through March, several hundred manatees can be viewed atop the spring’s overlooks on cold days. Lake Louisa, Florida State Parks Video

A short drive from Orlando, this 4,500-acre park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated as an Outstanding Florida Water Way. Lake Louisa, Hammond Lake and Dixie Lake, the park’s most accessible lakes, provide opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
