5/4/2015 Today we left Devils Tower continuing West to  Sheridan, Wyoming .  On our way we stopped at  Gillette, Wyoming .  Gillette is know for being one of the largest above ground coal mining operations in the World. Refueling was $2.22 a gal.  We also dumped our storage tanks, ate lunch at Arby's, and continued West to Sheridan.  Very windy again today.  Sun is out, and temp has warmed up to around 70. Arrived in Sheridan Walmart around 5:30 p.m.

Devils Tower, WA

5/3/2014 Devils Tower sites today.  Cool night last night, around 40 deg. F.  We had a beautiful sunny day though.  Temp was in the mid 70's deg. F.  We decided to stay two nights here and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the empty camp ground. We shared the camp ground with several Boy Scouts last night, but they were all gone this morning.  We rode our bikes to the entrance, about one mile away to check out the shops. We enjoy looking at the Native American Indian art.   We attempted to ride further up the hills to a information center and trail around Devils Tower, but decided early on the hills were a bit more than we wanted to attempt.  So we returned to the camp ground and drove the Kodiak instead.  Are we glad we did.  The trip was about 2.5 miles and very steep climb.  We would of had fun coming back, if we ever got their. Deadwood, Sturgis, SD

5/2/2015 Becky and Greg left Keystone, SD  Travel Lodge RV park around 11:20 this a.m.  Drove our Kodiak on 385 North on 16A to 385 to Deadwood, SD . The roads in Deadwood were being replaced making it very difficult to get around in our RV. We wished to visit the famous grave sites in town, but was not able to maneuver the very steep roads because of their condition. The scenery was beautiful through the  Black Hills of South Dakota Next stop Sturgis, SD.  We stopped at the  Full Throttle Saloon  for a cold one and a chat with one of the waitresses their.  July of this year, they will be celebrating their 75th year, expecting 1.3 million bikers this year.
