The Tetons and The Idho Thompsons, Pocatello ID
5/9/2015 Another cold night. Low was 34 and today is mid 40's. Today we are leaving Yellowstone National Park and heading South then West on Our Kodiak Adventures. We drove to Grand Canyon of Yellowstone making our way to the South entrance to the Tetons National Park. The Falls were beautiful at the Canyon. It took us about 2 hours to get to the South entrance of Yellowstone. The South entrance just opened yesterday. The South entrance is slow to open because of the snow they continue having on the southern part of the park to the middle of May.Tetons National Park joins Yellowstone. Tetons is primarily still closed for the most part. No camping, Visitor Center is still closed. Most things start opening first of June. We enjoyed the drive. Beautiful snow covered mountains.
