Our Travel Adventures

7/31/2015 - Friday Left Drew and Moey's home in Noblesville for Jeffersonville IN.  We meet Kelly Brison, and Charlene Herman at Tumbleweed Restaurant in Jeffersonville IN.  Becky went to school with her friends and hadn't seen them for years.  Good catching up, and great meeting them for me. Afterwards they recommend we go downtown and see the River walk.  We did and glad.  The old train crossing across the River has been turned into a walking, bicycle, path.  We enjoyed walking about 1/2 way across.  Headed to Walmart in Clarksville for the night. Charlene Becky and Kelly Big Four Bridge 8/1/2015 - Saturday We left Walmart and drove to Grace and Bob Rouck's home.  Grace is a long time friend that lives in Clarksville.  Clarksville is the neighboring town from Jeffersonville IN.  Grace and Bob have a beautiful home and we love going there when we can.  We took showers and perpared for Becky's class reunion.  We...

4/22/2015 We left Noblesville heading North to Ft. Wayne to visit with Stan and Debbie.  On the way we stopped and visited Barbara Williams an old friend from the Anderson Post Office in Anderson. Continued North to Ft. Wayne.  We arrived at Stan and Debbie home around 6:00 p.m.  First time we have visited since they moved into their new home.  Beautiful home.  We love the decorating and layout of their home. Stan and Debbie took us out for dinner at the local Mexican Restaurant.  We were amazed at how crowded it was for a Wednesday evening.  Lots of good conversation and a good nights sleep before heading West to Iowa. We always enjoy our time with the Fort Wayne IN Thompson's.  Now its time to move on to Our Kodiak Adventures.  Heading West, next stop Iowa.

4/9/2015 Sunny and 58 F in Noblesville IN.  Arrived safely and with no incidence.  Becky Drew and I began work on framing and electrical on Drew and Moey's basement.  They have a beautiful new home with an unfinished basement they wish to finish as a entertainment area in their home.  It took us 14 days to complete the project.  Drew and Moey are now soliciting bids for the drywall work.  The four rooms are gong to be really nice when completed. Before Framing We have completed the framing and wiring in 14 days.  Becky and I are moving on to our trip West today on Our Kodiak Adventures. Becky saying good-by to the grand-dogs Charlie and Yogi Drywall completed Drew and Moey's project looking good.  Expected to be completed mid June.  Looks nice.

4/11/2015 Becky and Greg attended Andy and Ashlyn's Wedding at Hedgehog Music Showcase  in Arcadia IN.  The Reception Dinner followed at 10 West restaurant and bar in Cicero IN.  Beautiful Wedding for a Beautiful couple on a Beautiful day.  The couple went to Saint Lucia on their Honeymoon. The Reception dinner was held in Cicero IN a couple miles from the Wedding Service. The Couples Honeymoon was in Saint Lucia.

4/7/2015 Becky and Greg spent a large part of our day yesterday loading the Kodiak with clothing food and anything else we thought we might need the next two months traveling.  We started out at 7:30 a.m. today heading towards Atlanta GA on I 75.  We expect the drive to the Florida line will be about 5 hours.  Becky started driving.  We stopped at Camping World and purchased a folding step on our way we have been talking about buying since we saw it.  Our friend Karin Neuhauser in FL has one and likes it very much.   We arrived at the GA line around 1:30 p.m. Final stop for the evening Calhoun Walmart around 9:30 p.m.  Took us around 12 hours. Weather was Sunny and 80 F. when we left Florida.  Gas was 2.20 per gal. in FL, and we paid 2.12 per gal. in GA.
