Basement door replaced

9/28/2014 When we purchased our Kodiak, the basement was detached from the floor, leaked, and the door didn't fit properly.  After searching online for a door replacement, $700 to $800, I decided to make my own.  I found a scrap piece of all weather 7/16" sheeting in a dumpster near our home where new homes are under construction.  I removed the fiberglass face from the old door and glued to the new door to maintain the original color. Several weeks ago I remounted the fiberglass housing to the new flooring I replaced.  The worse part in making my own door, was the aluminum edging around the door.  I didn't have access to a bender that would bend aluminum channel 3" radius on the corners.  What I finally did was buy 1/2" aluminum channel and remove the sides in the corners, but leave the flat outside edge.  Now I was able to bend the radius but maintain protection on the edge of the plywood.  I plan on filling the radius in with fiberglass making the aluminum

9/23/2014 Arrived at the Park around 2:00.  Parked the Kodiak, then drove to Tampa with the cargo trailer to move Hayley into her new apt.  Everything went smooth.  Large sectional was a challenge but we managed.  Left her apt. around 8:00, and went to Chili's for dinner.  We arrived back at Myakka State Park and finished setting up.  Becky and I were both tired. 9/24/2014 Becky up early and off to work.  I discovered some water on the carpet under our couch.  I pulled back the carpet and put fans on to dry out.  It seems our outside elect. compartment leaked and came inside. Becky came back around noon to have lunch.  We drove to the concession building at the Park for a sandwich.  After we returned Becky returned to work on her bike, and I drove home to remove our cargo trailer and pick up a few items we wanted to take to Hayley next Saturday.  Arrived back at the Park around 6:00.  Becky was already their.  We drove and picked up Chinese for dinner.  We return
