4/26/2015 Travel day.  Traveling from   Des Moines, Iowa to Sioux City, Iowa .  Sunny day with a temperature of around 60 F.  Stopped at a really neat rest stop that focused on all the wind turbines that Iowa has throughout the state.  We literally saw hundreds of them. We thought Elwood had a lot, no comparison. Another advantage in Iowa, their rest stops provide Wi-Fi. Never thought of Iowa with rolling hills but its fantastic how the farmers manage to plow their fields so precise to keep from having major runoff and erosion. We ended up stopping in Sioux City at the Hard Rock Casino Sioux City  to check out their buffet. It wasn't bad but ate too much like everyone does at a buffet. Found a fairly new Walmart to stay for the night. Our next stop Sioux Falls South Dakota.

4/24/2015 Left Fort Wayne IN around 11:30 a.m. yesterday heading to Iowa.  Becky has family their we hope to visit for the first time. Today we visited the "American Pickers" location in Le Claire IA.  Stan and Debbie visited here a couple years ago and suggested we stop.  We are glad we did.  Didn't see any of the Stars of the show, but enjoyed the antiques and location we see on TV.  We didn't get a chance to meet Mike, Frank, or Danielle. We enjoy watching the show. Traveled to Kellogg IA and set up camp at Rock Creek State Park around 4:00 p.m.  Cloudy and rainy here today.  Gas is running around $2.29 in this area.  Cool, low 50's.
