5/10/2015 Sunny 74 deg. F today.  We left Pocatello, Idaho  and our visit with Aaron, Kimberly, Logan, and Peyton last evening.  We stayed at Sam's Club last night.  Quiet and we sleep well. We are heading toward Salt Lake City today via I-15 to see the Mormon Tabernacle .  Aaron was very helpful giving us different routes to take.  We chose the safe less scenic route because of the snow predicted.  We still enjoyed the drive.  Snow top mountains are beautiful. We continued South to Provo, Utah .  Becky and I went to Ruby Steak House to celebrate Mother's Day.  We enjoyed a good Prime Rib dinner, then back to Sam's Club parking lot for the night. I'm

We were not disappointed when we heard this park has a lot to offer. Beautiful Coral, Fish, and clear water. On our way to John Pennekamp State Park, we stopped at The Turtle Hospital , a Hospital for Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release of Sea Turtles. Interesting to see the wonderful work they are doing helping preserve Turtles.   In 1993, a bar called Fanny’s was fully renovated and is now the building known as The Turtle Hospital . Today, The Turtle Hospital is the only state-certified veterinary hospital in the world for sea turtles. More than half of the hospital’s equipment has been generously donated by hospitals, doctors, private individuals and organizations. Lake Louisa, Florida State Parks Video

A short drive from Orlando, this 4,500-acre park is noted for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa, the largest in a chain of 13 lakes, is designated as an Outstanding Florida Water Way. Lake Louisa, Hammond Lake and Dixie Lake, the park’s most accessible lakes, provide opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. The park is home to 11 distinct natural plant communities and lies within the easternmost boundary of the Green Swamp (Area of Critical State Concern) and the northernmost boundary of the Lake Wales Ridge. The presence of white-tail deer, bobcat, fox squirrel, raccoon, gopher tortoise, bald eagle, osprey and cypress fringed lakes makes nature study a great pastime. The park is located on US Highway 27, seven miles south of State Road 50 in Clermont. History still resurfaces today. During the 2001 drought, when the lake level dropped, two prehistoric dugout canoes were found in LakeLouisa. Later that year, remnan
